| Description of the problem | When "service transmission" indicator goes on, the transmission becomes ineffective and vehicle looses power. The vehicle usually remains in this condition for several hours before indicator warning goes away and transmission becomes operative. Dealership installed a software fix but the problem has reoccurred since the fix. Concerned about safety if problem occurs at high speeds or in heavy traffic. The several occurances to-date have all occurred at low speeds. The internet is full of complaints regarding this issue |
