Description of the problem	The vehicle almost from the time of purchase exhibited transmission problems, when merging into traffic the car would lag and not engage. This was something that occurred at what appeared random times. It would jerk to the point that i thought i was rear ended. This persisted and i have taken the vehicle to two different dealerships and worked with three case managers at jeep customer care and the issue was never resolved. This week the transmission completely went out. The car has not been safe for sometime due to situational circumstances. I have had nothing but trouble from the vehicle since purchase (new) and had had to take the vehicle in for repairs multiple times with no resolution made.
