Transmission could engage drive gear with a severe lurch. Service tech was able to read a failure code. Transmission was able to shift smoothly upon repair. Vehicle transmission "service transmission" error code appeared and transmission shifted into neutral with blinking "d" and lost power. Unable to drive thru intersection. Had to coast to stop.
