Description of the problem	While waiting at a stop light after it turned green i put my foot on the gas pedal and i heard a popping sound. There was no response on the pedal so we pushed it off the road. Called a tow truck and it was taken to the chrysler dealership where they diagnosed it as a failed transmission. A new transmission was shipped from detroit and installed after 3 weeks. While researching this new 9 speed transmission i discovered the fleet one transmissions often fail.
