| Description of the problem | I was at the gas station filling up when the gas pump handle would not allow gas to flow into the tank unless it was at a greatly reduced flow. The auto stop feature of the gas pump handle did not work at low flow and the gas spilled all over the side of the vehicle and onto the concrete area creating a fire hazard. The dealership has since told me that the car may have a defective valve. This problem goes back to the year 2012 and has not been addressed. This is evidenced by a simple web search. The spillage of gas is a fire and environmental hazard. |
