| Description of the problem | When i'm filling up my tank, the pump keeps shutting off like the tank is full. The only way i can fill up is to wait there and fill it little by little and it keeps shutting off. I don't get it, it's not my first time pumping gas. It is at every gas station i go to, in and out of the state. I've tried to slow the intake down, turn it upside down, take the filler half way out, all the way in, nothing works. Never had this problem before with any cars i've owned. I've read people with the same year car have experienced this. Strange thing is, it didn't do it the first couple of fill ups. Bought the car in feb 2018 and didn't happen the first few months. Out of the blue started happening and then stopped for a few months. Has since been doing it. (approx. 4-5 very long, annoying months) |
