Description of the problem	The vehicle's gas tank has stopped working properly. When i try to fill it up, it almost immediately stops the pump and usually shoot gas back out all over me hand and clothes. I am able to get very small amounts of gas in the tank, but not without getting gas spilled everywhere. This appears to be a major safety/fire hazard. My local jeep dealer first said they could not diagnose the problem and later said that i needed a new fuel tank and that it would cost about $1200 plus. I then called chrysler to report the problem to see if they would voluntarily fix it. Too say that it was an unpleasant experience dealing with their customer service representatives would be an understatement. Chrysler said that since my vehicle was a 2014 jeep cherokee, that it was my problem and they would not replace my gas tank. They did not appear to care that gas getting all over my hands and clothes was dangerous.
