Description of the problem	When i pump gas into the jeep, it cuts off after only a very small bit of gas has been pumped. The fuel gauge will show that i am low on fuel, i will stop to get fuel, when i pump the pump auto cuts me off as if the tank is full. There is also a backsplash of fuel inside the hose. I had the car serviced in march 2016 and the notes indicate that a filler tube was replaced. Now it is december 6, 2016 and i am having this same issue. When i read the jeep owners boards, this appears to be an issue with many jeep models and for many model years. It worries me that i will be stranded out on the roads and not able to fill my fuel tank to carry on with my trip. Also, i am concerned about the gas backsplash. While i have not yet seen the gas leave the tube, it does back up to the point i can see it and one thinks it will back out of the car altogether. I just don't see how this can be safe. Since it happens when i am pumping gas, the vehicle is always parked and turned off when i experience this issue. On some of the boards, it is recommended to back up the gas pump and try it different angles within the tube. No matter how much i back the pump up or angle the position of the pump, it cuts off after only a tiny amount of gas being expelled into the jeep tank.
