Description of the problem	The headlamp and headlight went out. I took it to a dealer, and they concluded there was a problem with the module and it would cost over $1000 to repair. I opted to just change the headlight which cost about $130 just for the bulb. A few months later the other headlight went out. Again i paid about $130 just for another bulb. A month later the other headlight went out again. It will cost about $130 just for the bulb. I have been told with the most recent call that the bulbs might continue to break as a side effect of the module problem. That is not known to be a fact. Either way, i'm looking at either $500+ just to have working bulbs at this point, or over $1500 to replace the entire module. Nobody should have to spend that kind of money simply to have working headlights so that they can legally drive the car that they purchased! This is one of the most basic elements of a car, and i feel like i am being taken advantage of by having continuous defective bulbs that cost $130. Nothing out of the ordinary has every occurred with this car that might have caused the lights to have continuous problems. However, it is worth noting that the 2014 jeep cherokee seems to have the highest number of problems in the jeep line. I'm very unhappy about this and hope that there will be a satisfying resolution.
