Description of the problem	My 2014 jeep cherokee will stall unexpectedly. This has happened while accelerating and/or turning at a stop sign or red light. I took it to the dealership and they described it as follows "the stalling is a safety feature when the oil gets low". The dealership checked the oil and it was very low. This is a repeated problem and happens before the recommended 5000 miles oil change frequency. The last time it happened, the "oil life" screen said i had 28% oil life left ( i had been following it to avoid stalling out unexpectedly.... Which didn't help and i once again stalled at a red light in traffic). My main safety concern is the fact that there is no indicator light for low oil, and the first indication is my car stalling out in traffic which could cause a wreck. This can't be safe nor meet safety guidelines/requirements. My second concern is the fact that my engine is burning off that much oil so quickly (verified to have no leaks in the system). When searching the internet, i have found this to be a common problem with people stating they also had no indication except for the sudden stalling out. I feel this is something that should be fully investigated as a safety concern. It seems to have at least enough of a case to be a lawsuit in two states (california and michigan) at the time of me writing this- sep2020.
