| Description of the problem | My car developed an oil leak, slow but steady, and after taking it in to be checked we learned that there was a large crack in the oil filter housing assembly. This along with upper and lower gaskets, will need to be completely replaced to the tune of $500-900. This piece is plastic, so is easy to crack if the filter is over tightened. I think this should be recalled and replaced with something sturdier. |
