| Description of the problem | Vehicle stalls while driving. Taken to stetler jeep in york pa 3 times and thornton jeep in red lion, pa 2 times. They will do a "software update" or blame it on the oil being low or oil getting past the oil filter. They will say it's fixed, it will work for a few months and then the issue will reoccur. Car will stall/shut off while driving and a transmission service message comes up and the car will beep/ring. Car will some times work again if restarted and sometimes be inoperable for up to 25 minutes, leaving you stranded on roads and highways and unable to move it to side. Jeep dealerships are not able to fix and just keep saying it needs an oil change, which they are the ones doing. This is been happening for years and is dangerous. Jeep is dismissive of their vehicle just shutting off while driving. |
