| Description of the problem | While vehicle is in drive, the transmission will not engage or will lose significant power, especially on an upslope. In order to get the car into gear, you need to gun the engine, causing a jerking of the vehicle. In order to get up a hill, you must speed (breaking the law) so that the engine has enough to get the transmission in the proper gear. The cause is due to a software update by the dealer that apparently cannot be rectified, and the safety of the vehicle is seriously in question by the drivers of this vehicle. |
