Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep cherokee. While driving on the highway, the contact noticed smoke inside the vehicle. He then noticed that the automatic door locks on the driver's door caught fire. The fire started within the door and was burning through the door panel. The driver pulled over and the occupants exited the vehicle. The fire department arrived and contained the fire to just the driver's side door. There were no injuries. The contact's wife was driving at the time of the failure and inhaled a lot of smoke. A doctor's appointment was scheduled for december 18, 2019. A police report was not filed.
