| Description of the problem | While traveling at night on a highway at 60 mph, i turned my front windshield wipers on due to rain. As soon as the wipers came on, the entire dashboard went black and i was not able to monitor speed or view radio, gps, or other panels. The headlights also dimmed somewhat. As soon as we arrived at our destination, i googled for problems with wipers and found various blogs regarding this problem on 2014 jeep cherokees. The only advice online was to disable the automatic rain sensor. After disabling the automatic rain sensor, the problem was not corrected. I contacted the dealer who advised us to bring it in for a checkup. No repairs were made and i was informed that they would advise me if a recall would be released. |
