Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep cherokee. The contact noticed that the passenger side tail light did not illuminate. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the tail lamp needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 48,382. Updated 11/07/16*lj the consumer stated the new tail light didn't fix the problem. The light started working again on october 1, 2016. The consuemr opened hatch to place some itmes in the back, and when she shut it, the blinker stopped working again. She opend the hatch agin, and the blinker started working again.
