Description of the problem	dt: contact stated when the vehicle was put into drive and the accelerator pedal was pressed vehicle lurches forward. Sometimes this left rubber marks on the pavement or road. At times when the vehicle was put into reverse it would do this in reverse as well. The vehicle when put into gear will go into the higher gears until the rpms reached 4000. Consumer had logged 600 events, and there have been 54 occasions when this occurred. The service dealer did not know why this happened, but did replace the vehicle with the same make and model of this vehicle, and it did have the same defect. The dealer stated there was no recorded complaints with hyundai. Consumer has contacted the manufacturer several times, but had no resolution. Consumer no longer had this specific vehicle, but felt this was a safety defect and someone should be made aware of this problem. ak tt
