 Description of the problemDt*: the contact stated while moving forward from an idled position the vehicle jumped and remained in first gear while driving up to 20 mph on normal road conditions. There were no warning signal while the problem was present. The jumping problem occurred continually however the gear shifting problem has been intermittent. Sometimes took ten minutes to shift and on other occasions as long as forty five minutes or more. The vehicle has been taken to the dealership several times but the diagnostic test would not indicate any abnormality. The dealership also mentioned the jumping problem was normal on all those hyundai models. The manufacturer was contacted who determined there was no recall on the vehicle.
