Description of the problem	Bought the car in summer of 2010 from dealer who had sold it new to someone else. 2 days later the seatbelt warning light came on. Took it to dealer during routine maintenance and pointed this out. They said there was a soda can under the passenger seat, they turned light off, no problem. Light back on in about 1 week. At next maintenance they turned it off again. I asked about recalls or advisories and they insisted that my problem cane from an empty soda can they said was under the seat. To fix it i was told would cost more than $ 2000. So now when i go for state inspection i first go to the dealer to have him turn the light off for $50. 00, then straight to inspection praying the light does not come back on. Dealer insisted there were no complaints other than mine. Then i learned about this site. Light comes on while car is in motion and no one is in passenger seat.
