| Description of the problem | I was driving from virginia to new york on route 17 to route 81. I exited to get to a gas station. While turning left from a four-lane road into the gas station, my vehicle made a crashing sound and stopped in the middle of on-coming traffic. It felt like we hit something big. I could not move the car. We had it towed to a garage, where we learned the cv axle had snapped. They also had to replace rs spindle and rs ball joint because they had rusted out. There was cosmetic damage done to body when the axle broke and the car went down hard. |
