| Description of the problem | For the last six months the "check airbag" light has been coming on. I took it to the clay hyundai dealership in norwood. They replace the airbag wiring harness ($160). A month later the "check airbag" light came bace on. The dealer then cleared the code and told me if it continues to come back on that i would need a new main wiring harness. The "check airbag" then came back on. Then the dealer replaced the main wiring harness ($1,200). And now the "check airbag" has come bag on and the dealer is telling me that they may need to replace the side airbag in the driver's seat for an additional cost. First this is getting too expensive and second hyundai is neglecting the safety of their drivers because, i'm told, that the airbags will not deploy in a crash if the "check airbag" is on. |
