| Description of the problem | Air bag sensor light came on. New sensor was put in under warranty. A year later the sensor light came back on. It was replace at my cost ($250) because it was out of warranty. A year later the sensor light comes back on. It was not fix, however, when the timing belt was replace in 2013 at 60,000 the sensor light went off. After recent dealer computer repairs in march of 2015 the sensor air bag light came back on april 2015. My neighbor has the identical model and has the same problem with the sensor light. There are blogs on line that discuss the failures of the air bag sensor. I don't know if the air bag works or not. |
