Description of the problem	1) on march 25, 2005 i was pulling into a parking space at my doctors office and when i hit the brake the car engine revved- up and the car accelerated. I went through the parking space onto a grassy area. I do not remember how i got control of the car to stop it. My wife was leaving our development and had to cross a dual highway. When she got to the center strip she hit the brake and the car accelerated. Fortunately there was no traffic in the outer lane. She immediately brought the car home and would not drive the car after that. On april 15, 2005 i was heading south on route 41. When i was about 100 feet from a truck that had stopped at a red light, i started to gradually feather the brakes to slow down. When i was approximately 10 feet from the rear of the truck and almost stopped, i applied the brake to stop but the engine revved-up and the car accelerated into the back of the truck causing a great deal of damage to the front of my car. Although the impact was considerable, the air bags did not deploy and should have. I am now concerned about driving the car if a satisfactory solution to the problems can not be founded for the acceleration problem and non-deployment of the air bags. The car is at the fort myers hyundai dealer being repaired and investigated. *nm
