Description of the problemI purchase this vehicle in 2011, ever since the first month of ownership the tpms light continuously goes on and off. I have had the vehicle in to the hyundai service center numerous times, roughly once a month for over a year, for this very problem. Today, 12/28/12, my vehicle is back in the shop. I was called by the service manager and told that there was a bulletin they received regarding this light from hyundai. They said that "any radio or magnetic wave interference" or "other electronic devices" can cause this light to come on. That there is no fix and i just need to have the car checked when it comes on to make sure there is nothing really wrong or ignore the light if i feel everything is alright. I find this "fix" very unsatisfactory. I put my children in this vehicle on a daily basis. If i "ignore" the light as told i am potentially putting myself, my passengers, and other drivers on the road at risk. If something were really wrong with my tires i could have a major accident. Especially since the light tends to go off while on the interstate which is 75 mph speeds. It is not feasible to expect me to take the car into the dealer and have it checked everytime this happens as it most days happens every day. The only offer from the supervisor at hyundai was for him to offer me a free oil change for my trouble. This is a potential safety issue that i do not consider mild enough to ignore. I do not like placing myself or my passengers at risk unnecessarily.
