Description of the problem	In the 2. 5 years i've owned my 2011 hyundai veracruz, 4 door handles have broken from the inside. The first happened within a year of owning the car and was the driver's side door. The handle became embedded into the door and could not be pulled. The door could only be opened from the outside (or by rolling down the window and reaching my arm outside through window and pulling on the handle from the outside). This presents a serious safety risk in that the driver is unable to get out of the vehicle quickly in an emergency. The dealership replaced the handle and said they had never seen it happen before. Since then it has happened 3 more times (passenger door, rear door on passenger side, and again on driver's side). I have no children and am usually the only one driving the vehicle, so it doesn't receive much wear and tear. When the rear door handle broke, the door was unable to be opened from the inside or the outside. Can you imagine having a child in the car and being unable to get to them? This time when the driver's side door broke again, it also quit responding to lock/unlock button pushes, making the situation even more unsafe. The hyundai dealership has said that it is a poorly designed part and that it will continue to happen but that there is not a new part and that, once my warranty expires, i will have to pay for all of these repairs myself. They also had no comment about my safety concerns with the vehicle. Having the driver or passengers be unable to exit the car quickly is a very serious safety concern and this needs to be addressed. My email to hyundai usa has gone unanswered.
