Description of the problem	The driver's side seat belt locked and cannot be released so that it can be used by the driver. Thus i am driving without a seat belt and listening to the constant ping of the reminder. The dealer says the entire mechanism must be replaced and the cost is nearly $600. While i note that there have been numerous other incidents reported on line, there has been no recall and this is not covered under the original or extended warranty.
