Description of the problem	Vehicle has had two throttle body assemblies changed by the dealer. In addition, there have been multiple (in excess of 8 dealer visits) over the past two years. The check engine light illuminates--then there is an unresponsive throttle--sometimes incapacitating the vehicle. Other times during normal driving--the throttle becomes unreliable. Intermittently the throttle is unresponsive when depressed normally then the vehicle surges forward. This makes throttle modulation almost impossible at times. Sometimes from a complete stop--the throttle hesitates then surges--almost resulting in hitting the vehicle in front. The vehicle makes merging in normal traffic or lane changes unpredictable. Dealer has made multiple attempts to correct. Told by dealership after a complete software revision installed in 11-09 that the vehicle was one of only three in the nation having this problem. With the throttle response being frequently unresponsive and unpredictable the vehicle is unsafe.
