| Description of the problem | Purchased a 2007 hyundai veracruz and upon first use of headlights, found same aimed low with no light beyond 100'. Use of high beam caused on-comming cars to flash high beams due to my high beams to high. Dealer was unable to correct problem and provided repair manual for my use. Same was not similer to adjustments on car. Finally adjusted low beams, but high beams are in the trees, providing at best a most dangerous lack of adequate light to drive. Dealer finally has stated that both high and low beams are linked and cannot be adjusted seperately. Internet blogs state hyundai and some dealers have a recall/fix but no firm evidence of same. |
