Description of the problem | Problems began april 2017 when i placed my car in gear and it didn't move. I put it in park and then back in gear and the problem resolved itself. I didn't think of reporting it at the time. Oct 2017, while decelerating to make a right hand turn, the rpms shot up to 6500 and then back down. Then beginning about february i would place my vehicle in gear (both reverse and drive) and it wouldn't engage. I recorded these, and the dealership said they could not replicate the problem. In may they replaced the shift actuator and said that would fix it. Then they replaced the transmission in june saying that would fix it. They replaced the tcm and tac and said that would fix it just two weeks ago, and again i am having the same problem. |
