Description of the problem	The tailgate release pad has to be pressed very hard to get the latch to unlock. We began noticing this issue at christmas when we were loading the trunk for a trip home and it has progressively gotten worse. There were several times when we thought we would not be able to get the trunk open at all which would have made the trunk completely useless. I took it, today, to my local hyundai dealership where they confirmed that the pad had collapsed inside of the switch and needed to be replaced. Due to the part number for the replacement switch/pad indicating that it was a recalled part the service department did a search for a recall or campaign on this part they discovered that there was a campaign for this part on velosters with a model year of 2015 and 2016. I want to report this now on the 2014 model year veloster turbo as this was an expensive replacement that should have been covered under the same campaign as the 2015 and 2016 models as it is the same exact issue according to the hyundai service department.
