Description of the problem	While driving the car on the highway engine suddenly died. Oil light flickered on and engine made loud knocking noises. Towed car home. Engine makes knocking noise upon acceleration and oil light flickers on. Towed to two different shops was told there was bottom engine damage. Engine will need to be replaced. Quoted $5000. Mileage 122,000. Oil was full. It is not only the turbo engines having this problem. Clearly this issue needs to be addressed.
