Description of the problem	I was driving my 2013 hyundai veloster turbo on a small road, as i pulled away from a stop sign i heard loud metallic grinding and scraping sounds, the vehicle lost power and i immediately pulled to the side of the road and turned the vehicle off. Checked under the vehicle and found oil spraying from the engine block. Vehicle was found to have a blown rod and a hold in the engine block and was towed to sussman hyundai of willow grove pa where i was informed of recall 19v-204 #182. I was told by the service department that the vehicle needed a new engine due to the blown rod that left a hole in the engine block and it was likely that it would be covered under the recall. The vehicle stayed at the dealership for over a week while pictures were taken and sent to hyundai corp, hyundai declined to assist with the issue saying the vehicle was out of warranty. I contacted hyundai motor america for further assistance, i was told to leave the vehicle at the dealership and was given case #15862961 hyundai motor america has been very unresponsive. It's been over 3 weeks without any official notice. I was lucky that this issue didn't happen at higher speeds, i easily could've been hurt or killed due to the engine malfunction. Vehicle had 89k miles when the issue occurred.
