Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 hyundai veloster. While driving 50 mph, the vehicle lost power and smoke appeared from the rear of the vehicle. The contact heard an abnormal grinding noise coming from the front of the vehicle as if pieces of the engine were falling out of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and a large hole was found in the engine block. The vehicle was towed to webb highland hyundai (9236 south indianapolis blvd, highland, in 46322, (219) 923-2277) where the vehicle was awaiting service. The contact had not received word on the diagnosis due to the upcoming holiday weekend. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 75,000. |
