Description of the problem | I have a hyundai veloster 2013. On the hwy home from work my car suddenly lost power, i was able to make it to the side of the road where it completely died. Upon initial inspection it seemed to be in part due to the battery. We replaced the battery and . Switched out the alternator to test it and took it in to the dealership where they charged us 150 to suggest factory parts in order to diagnose it. I refused and put the old alternator back on after it tested clear and hecked the fuses. The multi fuse for the alternator had blown so we replaced that (making it driveable) and brought it in to a different hyundai service dept. They didnt charge me to tell me that it had blown a rod and i needed a new engine. Hyundai is refusing to do anything however did call the sexist jerks from the originally hyundai dealership and used that interacton as basis to say my car is fine... |
