Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2013 hyundai veloster. While driving approximately 65 mph, the vehicle started to lose power and acceleration. In addition, the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The following day, the contact drove to the dealer (university hyundai in decator, alabama) where the vehicle was kept for one and a half months without rendering a diagnosis. The contact was provided with a rental vehicle in the interim; however, the dealer was currently requesting payment in full for the rental vehicle before releasing the contact's vehicle. The contact also stated that the vehicle was repaired per a recall for the fuel line that, in turn, damaged other parts of the engine that were not covered by the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The recall details were not provided. The approximate failure mileage was 86,000. |
