Description of the problem	Fan speeds for heat and a/c no longer work when the dial is placed on the number for the speed of the fan. To get speed #2 to blow, the dial is actually somewhere around position 2. 5. To get speed #3 to blow, the dial needs to be at about 3. 5, will not work with dial placed on the number 3 like it should. Same issue with fan speed #4. After removing dash panels to inspect, wires and electrical connections are getting so hot to the point that they melt. This is a fire hazard.
