| Description of the problem | My 2012 hyundai velostor had a sunroof recall and was inspected in late 2014 at the dealer. Nothing was noted at the time. On april 17 2018, the sunroof exploding while driving on the freeway, casting shattered glasses on the freeway and damaged the vehicle behind. Shattered glasses also rained on top of me. Luckily my child was not in the car at the time. I brought it to the dealer for the warranty repair and they denied due to pass the 60k warranty. I was shocked and angered. I have the vehicle for 6. 5 yrs and the service agent said its an old car and out of warranty. How irresponsibly hyundai is on protecting the consumers and drivers on the road. This is unacceptable! |
