Description of the problemClutch slippage on my 2005 hyundai tiburon se which i reported to my dealer at lax hyundai before i reach 60,000 miles, i was then told that it was going to cost me upwards to 800 plus dollars just to have it replace. My car is warranted upto 100,000 miles under the hpp program which cover mostly all components on my vehicle. After researching the issue that i am having with my car which was purchased brand new, i discovered a compliant trend for the same problem with my car model beginning since it's introduction in 2003. Researching more into the problem there seems to be a defect in the clutch valve spring the prematurely wears out the clutch. When i took my car in for diagnosis the mechanic even stated that the clutches are bad and that he was shocked that my car lasted as long as it did on the original clutch, something that caused suspicion in how much hyundai backs their own products.
