Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owned a 2018 hyundai sonata. While driving approximately 35 mph, the accelerator pedal became stuck. The contact could not stop the vehicle due to the stiffness of the brake pedal. As a result, the contact crashed into the front passenger door of another oncoming vehicle. All of the air bags deployed. A police report was filed. Both drivers sustained injuries that required medical attention. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was deemed a total loss. A dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
