Description of the problem	While attempting to merge onto interstate 85 in atlanta, the car hesitated and would not accelerate. At the same time, an alarm began to chime and once i avoided a collision, i noticed a flashing engine symbol on the dash. At this critical time i was "lucky" to have not been involved in a fatal car accident. The car limped to the autozone and p01326 was discovered. The az employee and the longtime manager said they were surprised when the code did not pull up any info in the database. I researched the internet and found some information and the 2 minute hyundai video on the bearings, catastrophic engine failure, potential fire and the knock sensor. Southtowne hyundai said it was a wiring problem and reset the code. I asked if the vehicle was safe to drive and the representative said yes but within 5 miles of leaving the dealership, the check engine light came back on. I have sent several emails to the se regional manager, steve flood, and southtowne's gm, charlie simmons, but they have not replied. Their underlings have. I have lost faith in the vehicle and believe it (and other hyundai cars) is unsafe.
