| Description of the problem | While driving on the freeway at about 60mph, 100 degrees outside, a/c on low inside the car (no a/c vents in the rear of vehicle), i hear a loud pop. I thought a tire blew. I looked in the rear view mirror to see the back window shattered yet still in place as it's safety glass. With each bump in the road the glass began to fall into the car. My car has 5340 miles on it. I had no chips in the glass. This could have been a terrible situation had i had a rear facing baby seat in the car with an infant. Or rear passengers or been so startled by the situation it caused an accident. None of these things happened, fortunately. |
