Description of the problem	2014 hyundai sonata with vin # [xxx] has had campaign recalls which started 3/ 2019 ( campaign recall123 powertrain transmission/transaxle). Vehicle received repair for campaign recall 123 10/2014 under hyundai dealership. Recently car stalled while driving and got diagnosed by hyundai dealership that engine seized and would need new engine. Car was underwarranty with the campaign recall and stated that car would need transmission due to 3rd shift not working like it should. Caseworker from consumer affairs stated that i would have to pay for transmission due to transmission not under warranty and he would not approve for repair. I had mentioned to caseworker that campaign recall 123 had been repaired by hyundai back in 2014. He denied any approval. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.
