Description of the problem	Potential sonata fire hazard info......... Car purchased new in may 2014. Car is 2 1/2 yrs. Old with 42 k mileage. While replacing car's oem rear burned out brake light incandescent bulb at home during stationary, owner discovered both rear brakelight bulbs on rt/ lft sides had burned out and melted with normal use, smell of plastic melting and melted both side bulb housing, brakelight tail light assembly and connector wires. Both main bulbs could not be extracted for routine maintenance due to melted housing. Owner took car to local dealership who had to "crack open" both light bulb housings to replace bulbs for tail & brake lights due to melted fusing of plastic parts. Car under oem warranty; suggest you have new led tail lights & assembly installed for less heat and potential melting of assembly.
