Description of the problem	While driving, the front coil spring fractured, which resulted in the broken coil puncturing the tire. This occurred on a winding country road around a hairpin turn at 6pm in the evening. Howard county police were called until a tow truck arrived due to the danger presented by the road. Automotive technicians confirmed this was the cause of the damaged tire. There was a previous recall on 2011 hyundai sonatas and elantras for this exact problem (recall 15v629000).
