Description of the problem	The engine in this particular model is hyundai's 2. 4l gdi (theta ii). The engine seized without warning even though it had the software update that detects engine wear and prevents engine failure while driving. Hyundai did well and replaced the engine under warranty and provided me a rental vehicle. 8,000 miles later with the same vehicle now the check engine light is flashing and acceleration is dramatically reduced. I was able to take some backroads with little traffic to a local hyundai dealership and am waiting for diagnosis again. This started on a very busy local highway.
