Description of the problem	Both tail light assemblies partially melted from the brake light bulb overheating. The brake light bulb itself was melted and fused into the socket housing it. The socket was blackened from overheating. It was the same problem on the left and right tail light assembly. I replaced both tail light assemblies since the plastic was partially melted and became deformed. The issue was likely an ongoing problem while the car was parked and in motion. There may be an electrical wiring problem as the underlying cause.
