Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 hyundai sonata. While driving, the vehicle suddenly began to sputter and there was a burning odor coming from the engine. In addition, the check engine indicator illuminated and a loud knocking noise came from the engine. The contact pulled the vehicle over to a mall parking lot and later managed to drive to an independent mechanic. The contact called the manufacturer and they provided a case number.
