| Description of the problem | In just over 18 months of ownership, we have had to change brake lights at minimum 9 times. We have been told by one mechanic that it's an electrical issue but the dealership said that it wasn't. A third mechanic stated that it is an electrical issue. Currently, the brake light socket wiring is burned requiring replacement of the entire brake light housing unit. For the numerous complaints noted on the internet, this should be replaced by hyundai and should not be an expense to owners. Additionally, my car stalled suddenly ( the engine seized ) and the repair (replacement of engine) was covered by hyundai warranty extension. |
