Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2013 hyundai sonata. The contact heard an abnormal knocking sound coming from the engine and the vehicle stalled. Also, the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to potamkin hyundai (6200 nw 167th st, miami, fl) and repaired per nhtsa campaign number: 17v226000 (engine and engine cooling), but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who stated that the recall required them to change the dip stick, and the vehicle would need a new engine due to sludge being in the engine. In addition, the dealer stated that the cam shaft was defective and the vehicle had two faulty valves. The vehicle was repaired; however, just the oil control valve was changed. The failure recurred.
