Description of the problem	Engine seizing up driving back from visiting a friend in the next town. I lost engine power on a straight section of the road and with that power steering ability was lost as well. It was on a major highway but was grateful it didn't happen with a lot of vehicles on the road. I coasted to a stop along side the road (near an access road (a relatively dangerous place to park) but at the best place i could find with only a few seconds to make a decision. I did call the local police who came to aid me in maintaining a safe zone for me and my car. My local dealer i bought the car from seem to not be in much of a hurry to get my car fixed. I have called or texted back to the dealer over the last 9 days and have received the same message - we are waiting for hyundai to authorize repair. I have also called a hyundai customer care center and they basically said you will just have to wait. How long is too long to go without your vehicle? I need mine to get to work, to get to the store, etc. A car is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity.
